(Sorry, little devils — I was super busy yesterday!)
But today, we’re diving into: Soundgood — Quebec Quality.
Hey my gang of little devils!
Papa Tony here, live from the blog. I hope you’re all doing great, feeling good, and most importantly… on fire! 🔥
Today, my little devils, we’re talking about a brand you might’ve already seen pop up in my recent posts: Soundgood.
Yup, for a while now, all my blogs have been sponsored by them — and trust me, there’s a reason for that!
What’s Soundgood, Papa Tony?
Excellent question! Soundgood is a 100% Canadian company that makes tech gear — batteries, earbuds, headphones… basically, a seriously solid product lineup.
And since I can’t use earbuds without turning them into earplugs (true story…), the company kindly sent me their brand-new SG Sessions headphones.
That’s exactly what we’re talking about today!
The SG Sessions — a headset that hits hard!
Despite its low price (99.99), this headset can easily compete with models twice as expensive.
Honestly, I even ditched my old Skullcandy ones — and that says a lot!
Quick Specs:
- Battery life: 35h with ANC on, up to 60h without.
- Calls: 25h straight (though, seriously… who does that?).
- Bluetooth 5.4, aux input, and USB-C.
- Active noise cancellation up to -43 dB — turns a Boeing 747 into a lawn mower two feet away.
- Range: about 10 meters, enough to clean your whole house without dropping the signal.
- 6 built-in mics, so your calls sound crisp and clear.
Three Noise-Canceling Modes:
- Off – keeps your sound natural.
- Adaptive – adjusts automatically depending on how noisy your surroundings are.
- Transparency – my favorite! Lets you stay aware of your environment while still enjoying your music.
Perfect for walking around the city or staying alert outdoors.
And after testing it outside, I’m telling you — it’s a real game changer.
My “almost audiophile” opinion 🎧
Honestly, I love this headset. The sound is balanced, smooth, and works great for all kinds of music.
My only little gripe? No option to tweak the bass like on my old Skullcandys.
So if you’re into heavy metal or deep hip-hop, you can’t boost the low end yourself.
But still — the overall sound quality is very well-balanced.
The small downsides…
-
The ear pads are faux leather. They’re comfy, but I’d have preferred fabric or memory foam.
That said, Soundgood sells replacement pads directly on their website — no need to scroll through Amazon 46 times looking for the right size 😅. -
Honestly, apart from that… there’s not much to complain about!
In short:
The SG Sessions are great headphones — comfortable, well-built, with awesome battery life and surprisingly good noise reduction.
For the price, it’s a fantastic value.
And if you ever need:
- a power bank,
- some in-ear buds,
- or other reliable tech gear —
go check out Soundgood’s website.
Plus, it directly supports the channel! 🙌
Thanks for reading, my gang of little devils.
I’ll see you very soon for more tests and discoveries — maybe even wilder ones next time!
Until then, have a great evening… and stay on fire! 🔥
— Papa Tony
